Tijdens een opera zijn er soms twee of drie uitzonderlijke aria’s waar je de hele avond op wacht. Bij de Classical Jukebox Diva’s is het publiek aan zet. Kies uit een eindeloze lijst van de allermooiste werken ooit geschreven, van tophits uit het liedrepertoire tot absolute pareltjes uit de opera’s. Jij vraagt, Club Classique speelt, met als resultaat een avond vol hoogtepunten en kippenvelmomenten.
Club Classique ontstond in 2012 uit een soort jamsessie, maar kom je tegenwoordig overal tegen: in het theater, op tv (Podium Klassiek), om de hoek in het café of ergens in een weiland. Hun voorstellingen zitten vol spannende combinaties, onverwachte twists en ontroerende verhalen. Violiste Myrthe Helder en cellist Leonard Besseling zijn de twee hersenhelften die samen het brein vormen van Club Classique. Daarnaast zie en hoor je pianist Caspar Vos en topdiva’s annex hilarisch duo Judith van Wanroij en Karin Strobos.

Each opera has its crowd-pullers; two, maybe three exceptional arias that people are willing to wait all evening for. But with the Classical Jukebox Divas, there are only highlights. The final selection is all up to the public, who may choose from an endless list of the most beautiful works ever written, from top hits to absolute opera gems. The audience demands, Club Classique provides, resulting in an evening filled with highlights and goosebumps.
Club Classique started in 2012 as a jam session, but nowadays you can find them anywhere: in the theater, on TV (Podium Klassiek), around the corner in the café or even out in the open air. Their performances are filled with exciting permutations, unexpected twists and moving stories. Violinist Myrthe Helder and cellist Leonard Besseling are the beating heart of Club Classique. You will also see and hear pianist Caspar Vos and top divas – and entertainers – Judith van Wanroij and Karin Strobos.
