Twee jaar geleden verscheen haar inmiddels vijftiende album, getiteld Life Stories.

With her remarkable voice, singer Mary Coughlan quickly turns even the only mildly curious into a fan for life. After an explosive career spanning nearly thirty years, the Galway-born master talent has become legend in her own right, with a hypnotic voice that can bleed like Billie Holiday and blaze like Shirley Bassey. Every song that passes her lips contains a shockwave of inspiration and emotion.

Almost three years ago, her fifteenth album, titled Life Stories, was released. Coughlan has some life stories to tell: after a troubled childhood, she found herself at rock bottom when she was admitted into a psychiatric hospital. There, she managed to rebuild and heal herself through music. Her musical career gained momentum when she crossed paths with Dutch musician Erik Visser. Visser, who had achieved fame with his band Flairck, urged her to record her first album Tired and Emotional, which quickly became a hit in Ireland. In the Summer of 2022, she made it to the line-up for the renowned The Glastonbury Festival.
