TJ Taotua stond onlangs voor de allereerste keer in Nederland en maakte meteen diepe indruk met twee volledig uitverkochte Soulful Sessions-shows in Poppodium 013 en Podium Victorie. Nu komt hij exclusief terug voor Groningen — en dat wil je meemaken.
TJ Taotua is een veelzijdige zanger, songwriter en muzikant uit Nieuw-Zeeland, bekend om zijn krachtige stem, diepe geloof en soulvolle muziek. Met roots in de Samoaanse gemeenschap weet hij traditionele invloeden moeiteloos te verweven met moderne gospel, soul en R&B. Zijn talent bleef niet onopgemerkt: bij de prestigieuze Pacific Music Awards werd hij in 2015 bekroond als Best Pacific Male Artist én Best Pacific Gospel Artist. In 2016 ontving hij opnieuw de award voor Best Pacific Gospel Artist – een erkenning van zijn blijvende impact binnen de Pacific muziekscene. TJ stond op het podium met internationale grootheden als Eric Benét, Musiq Soulchild en KC & JoJo, en werkte daarnaast samen met diverse toonaangevende artiesten uit de regio. TJ Taotua is a versatile singer, songwriter and musician from New Zealand, known for his powerful voice, deep faith and soulful music. With roots in the Samoan community, he effortlessly weaves traditional influences with modern gospel, soul and R&B. His talent didn’t go unnoticed: at the prestigious Pacific Music Awards he was crowned Best Pacific Male Artist and Best Pacific Gospel Artist in 2015.
