Daniel Wayenberg, keizer der Nederlandse pianisten, schuift aan bij studentenorkest MIRA voor Beethovens ‘Keizerconcert’. Na de pauze klinkt de ‘Symfonie Pastorale’. De avond wordt dynamisch geopend met het eerste deel van de toneelmuziek bij Goethe’s drama ‘Egmont’. En toeval of niet: Beethoven is waarschijnlijk op 16 december 1770 geboren, maar zeker is dat hij op 17 december is gedoopt. Een bijzonder Beethoven concert.
