Inmiddels zijn we een aantal jaren en een pandemie verder en weten we dat Michelle David & The True-tones niet hebben stilgezeten. Zo brachten ze in 2022 een nieuw album uit, genaamd ‘Truth & Soul’. Hierop hoor je hoe het viertal hun muzikale horizon nog verder heeft verbreed. Zo hoor je op het album dromerige indiesoul met een zware jaren 70-vibe vermengd met Braziliaanse smaken en Afrikaanse ritmes.
