Genre-exceeding songs from South Carolina in the atmospheric Der Aa-Theater

SUSTO is het muzikale project van frontman Justin Osborne. De groep is opgericht in Cuba in 2013, maar is intussen gevestigd in Charleston, South Carolina. De muziek van SUSTO bestaat uit meeslepende songs met zangpartijen die heerlijk in het gehoor liggen. De oorsprong van de muziek is te vinden in country en rock, maar tegelijk hoor je er de meest uiteenlopende genres in terug. Op vrijdag 26 april kan je het allemaal live meemaken in het sfeervolle Der Aa-Theater.

Het derde studioalbum Ever Since I lost My Mind is eind februari uitgekomen. Naar eigen zeggen is dit zijn meest persoonlijke album tot nu toe. Het album is gemaakt vanuit het gevoel dat je ervaart als je de auto instapt om ergens heen te gaan op zoek naar een nieuw avontuur.

“We live in some strange, crazy times. There is a sense of darkness. But I’m crisscrossing the country, and people are good and fun. There is a lot of beauty everywhere. I think not forgetting that is important”, aldus Justin Osborne.

SUSTO is the musical project of frontman Justin Osborne. The group was founded in Cuba, in 2013, but now resides in Charleston, South Carolina. SUSTO’s music consists of compelling songs with vocals that are lovely on the ear. The origin of the music lies in country and rock, yet simultaneously you hear characteristics of all kinds of genres. On Friday 26 April you can experience it live in the atmospheric Der Aa-Theater.

The third studio album Ever Since I lost My Mind will be released late February 2019. By their own account, it is the most personal album so far. It is created from the feeling you experience when you get in a car to drive off looking for a new adventure.
