Op 27 maart keert het Prins Claus Concert terug met het Hanze Symphonic Jazz Orchestra. Tijdens het concert laten studenten en alumni van het Prins Claus Conservatorium nieuw werk horen, onder leiding van dirigent Simon Dobson.
Dit concert staat in teken van het heden en de toekomst. Je hoort muziek van nu, gemaakt door componisten die het veld van morgen vormgeven. Trompettist Suzan Veneman en vocalist Hiske Oosterwijk, beide alumni van het Prins Claus Conservatorium, sluiten zich aan als componist en solist.
Hun nieuwe werk wordt gecombineerd met artiesten die veel studenten inspireren, zoals Snarky Puppy, Joni Mitchell, Weezer en Radiohead. Verder zal een nieuwe compositie van Deborah De Graaf, een student van compositie en muziekproductie, te horen zijn.
On March 27, the Prince Claus Concert returns with the Hanze Symphonic Jazz Orchestra. During the concert, students and alumni of the Prince Claus Conservatoire will perform new works, conducted by Simon Dobson.
This concert is all about the present and the future. You’ll hear music from today, made by composers who are shaping the field of tomorrow. Trumpeter Suzan Veneman and vocalist Hiske Oosterwijk, both alumni of the Prince Claus Conservatoire, will join as composer and soloist.
Their new work will be combined with artists who inspire many students, such as Snarky Puppy, Joni Mitchell, Weezer, and Radiohead. A new composition by Deborah De Graaf, a student of composition and music production, will also be performed.
