Gumbo Kings (Haarlem/Amsterdam) groeide de afgelopen jaren uit tot een toonaangevende live act die de fans kennis liet maken met hun unieke blend van Soul en Rhythm ’n Blues, op festivals als Noorderslag, Bevrijdingspop, Moulin Blues en Ribs ’n Blues. Op het langverwachte debuutalbum ‘Hotel Belvédère’ slaat de band een gedurfde nieuwe weg in. Gumbo Kings neemt je mee naar een denkbeeldige en louche plek in het Miami van de jaren 80. De roots-muziek krijgt ineens nieuwe smoel met 80’s synths en hiphopbeats.
