DeWolff komt op 8 januari met hun Full Moon Ritual tour naar de Stadsschouwburg. Samen met presentator en dichter Daan Doesborgh nemen zij je mee op een psychedelische reis naar een nieuwe dimensie, waarin we allemaal wolven zijn, met een bloeddorstige honger naar meer blues en distortion.
Full Moon Ritual is meer dan een rockconcert. Het is een terugblik dat van Romulus en Remus via Howlin’ Wolf, Wolfman Jack en Winston Wolfe uitkomt bij DeWolff. Verwacht smakelijke anekdotes, deep cuts, opzwepende poëzie maar vooral muziek van deze mannen, die spelen alsof hun leven ervan afhangt.
Met donderende drums, grommende gitaren en een huilend Hammondorgel bestormden zij de Europese podia en geen mens was nog dezelfde na kennis te hebben gemaakt met DeWolff. In Full Moon Ritual blikken ze terug op de afgelopen twee decennia, maar onderzoeken ze ook de vraag wat ervoor nodig is om een wolf te worden. Welke bezwerende rituelen en magische rites heb je nodig om een weerwolf te worden? Kunnen we misschien allemaal leren huilen met de maan?

Full Moon Ritual is more than a rock concert. It is a look back that travels from Romulus and Remus via Howlin’ Wolf, Wolfman Jack and Winston Wolfe all the way to DeWolff. Expect juicy anecdotes, deep cuts and rousing poetry, but above all music from these three, who play as if their lives depend on it.
With thundering drums, growling guitars and a howling Hammond organ, they stormed Europe’s stages, and no one was ever the same after meeting DeWolff. In Full Moon Ritual they look back on the past two decades, but also explore what it takes to become a wolf. Which spellbinding rituals and magical rites do you need to turn into a werewolf? Could we all learn to howl at the moon?
