De iconische reggaeband Midnite transformeerde in 2015 naar Akae Beka. Onder leiding van de charismatische frontman en zanger Vaughn Benjamin maken de roots reggae grootmachten uit de Virgin Islands in grotendeels dezelfde samenstelling nog steeds die heerlijke signature deep roots en spiritual reggae. Hun live shows lijken eindeloos door te deinen, en hun bedwelmende muziek en lyrics trekken je in een diepe, lome reggae trance.
