Sunday Morning Classics
i.s.m. het Prins Claus Conservatorium
Tijdens de zevendelige serie Sunday Morning Classics spelen studenten van het Prins Claus Conservatorium in verschillende bezettingen samen met hun hoofdvakdocent. Presentator Mark Vondenhoff – hoofd Klassieke Muziek Prins Claus Conservatorium – interviewt de musici over hoe zij de muziek ervaren en hoe het is om bij het conservatorium te studeren. Ook het publiek krijgt de gelegenheid tot het stellen van vragen.
De zangklas van het Prins Claus Conservatorium voert delen uit de opera Die Zauberflöte van Mozart uit. Geënsceneerd onder regie van Elsina Jansen met Victoria Dmitrieva op piano. Een verteller leidt het publiek door het verhaal. Een bijzonder openingsconcert in deze concertserie.
Sunday Morning Classics vindt plaats op 9 oktober (zang), 27 november (slagwerk), 11 december (piano), 5 februari (Jong Talentklas), 19 maart (viool), 16 april (kamerorkest) en 21 mei (participatory concert).
During the seven-part Sunday Morning Classics series, students from the Prince Claus Conservatoire, in varying formations, will be performing together with their major professor. Presenter Mark Vondenhoff – head of classical music at the Prince Claus Conservatoire – interviews the musicians about their personal connection with music and what it is like to study at the conservatory. Audience members will also have the opportunity to ask questions.
Sunday Morning Classics will take place on October 9 (vocals), November 27 (percussion), December 11 (piano), February 5 (Young Talent Class), March 19 (violin), April 16 (chamber orchestra) and May 21 (participatory concert).
The singing class of the Prins Claus Conservatoire will perofrm parts of Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte opera. Staged under the direction of Elsina Jansen, with Victoria Dmitrieva playing the piano. A narrator guides the audience throughout the story. A special opening concert in this serie.
