Former housemates play Spinvis' songs with only piano and guitar

Het is 1990. Op de vijfde verdieping van een galerijflat in Overvecht wonen Lucas Oldeman en Erik de Jong. Beiden jonge vaders, beiden muzikant. Tien jaar later: Erik wordt Spinvis en Lucas zijn pianist. Tijdens dit concert voeren de vrienden de liedjes van Spinvis uit in al hun puurheid, met enkel piano en gitaar.

It’s 1990. On the fifth floor of an apartment building in Overvecht, Lucas Oldeman and Erik de Jong live. Both are young fathers and musicians. Ten years later, Erik becomes Spinvis and Lucas his pianist. During this concert, the friends perform Spinvis’ songs in their purest form, with only piano and guitar.

Renée’s cello relentlessly lulls a song to sleep, while Loes cuts down a lover with an almost apologetic sneer in her voice. Secrets becomes one of those evenings when you leave the theater smiling, humming a song that stays with you for days.
