De Britse zangeres Sophie Ellis-Bextor brak in 2002 door met de hit Murder On The Dancefloor. Daarmee had ze ook gelijk het meest gedraaide nummer in Europa van 2002 op haar naam staan. Sindsdien heeft ze haar collectie, die voornamelijk bestaat uit een mengeling van jarentachtig-discopop en hedendaagse dancegrooves, flink uitgebreid. Zo bracht ze in 2010 samen met Armin van Buuren het nummer Not giving up on love uit.
De popartiest heeft ook de afgelopen jaren niet stilgezeten. Na haar hit-serie Kitchen Disco Parties, die ze gedurende de pandemie op Instagram deelde, heeft ze twee verzamelalbums en haar eerste boek uitgebracht. Daarnaast is ze de host van haar wekelijkse radioshow op BBC2 en is ze bezig met alweer het achtste seizoen van haar podcast. Alsof dat nog niet genoeg was, heeft ze ook nog eens een kookboek gepubliceerd met haar echtgenoot, en bassist van The Feeling, Richard Jones. Voeg daar haar gloednieuwe album HANA aan toe en je ziet gelijk dat dit een hardwerkende creatieveling van wereldklasse is. Met een nieuwe tour op de planning brengt ze haar muzikale werk naar de concertzalen.

Holiday Sidewinder Carmen-Sparks is een indie-pop singer-songwriter, muzikant en producer van Australische afkomst. Ze was de oprichtende leadzangeres van Bridezilla. Nadat die groep was ontbonden, verhuisde Sidewinder naar Engeland om haar solocarrière te beginnen.
