Pure Irish Drops celebrates its 25th birthday. For this anniversary concert three accordion players with different backgrounds were invited to treat you to a special and intimate evening, in which you will experience Irish music in its purest form and from very close by. Exactly as you are supposed to. The musicians perform both together and solo. Conor Moriarty is from Sliabh Luachra, a region in the south of Ireland known for its exciting and energetic dance music. You might know Benny McCarthy from the famous Irish group Danú. Graham Wells is from the Canadian Newfoundland, a region where the Irish (musical) traditions are sometimes better kept than in the homeland.
Pure Irish Drops viert zijn 25e verjaardag. Voor dit jubileumconcert werden drie trekharmonicaspelers met verschillende achtergronden uitgenodigd om u te trakteren op een bijzondere en intieme avond, waarbij u Ierse muziek in zijn meest pure vorm en van heel dichtbij meemaakt. Precies zoals het hoort eigenlijk. De musici spelen zowel gezamenlijk als solo. Conor Moriarty komt uit Sliabh Luachra, een regio in het zuiden van Ierland die bekend staat om zijn opwindende en energieke dansmuziek.
