Benieuwd hoe de repetities voorafgaand aan de concerten van het Noord Nederlands Orkest gaan? Kom dan een openbare repetitie bijwonen. Luister hoe de dirigent samen met het orkest een deel van het concertprogramma van die week repeteert. De openbare repetities zijn gratis toegankelijk en duren van 12.00 tot 12.30 uur.
Jazzy stukken zijn voor een symfonieorkest een speciale uitdaging. Immers: It don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that swing. Het NNO weet er wel raad mee, blijkt steeds weer. En zeker onder de leiding van dirigent Garrett Keast, een specialist op het gebied van swingend repertoire.
Dit is het voorlopige programma en zal nog worden uitgebreid.
