Twee van de beste raprock-acts uit de nineties op één avond! Rapper Rudeboy en DJ DNA van de legendarische Nederlandse crossoverband Urban Dance Squad openen het dubbele concert. Zij brengen – samen met drie topmuzikanten – een set met materiaal van alle albums van de Dance Squad. Vervolgens speelt het New Yorkse trio Fun Lovin’ Criminals een ‘best of’-set met hun bekendste nummers.

De Fun Lovin’ Criminals is een Amerikaanse alternatieve-rockgroep uit New York. De band bestaat tegenwoordig nog uit drie leden die samen rock mengen met invloeden uit hiphop, rock-‘n-roll, rap en blues-jazz. Hun debuut single Scooby Snacks uit 1996 werd gelijk een hit, waarmee de formatie al vanaf het begin internationaal op de kaart staat.
Rudeboy en DJ DNA
Rapper en zanger Rudeboy en DJ DNA waren 2 van de leden van de Nederlandse band Urban Dance Squad (UDS). De 5 bandleden van UDS brachten rock en hiphop feilloos samen met rap, reggae en elektronische elementen. De band ging in het jaar 2000 uit elkaar, maar sinds 2022 brengt rapper en frontman Rudeboy onder begeleiding van DJ DNA de collectie nummers van UDS weer terug naar het podium!

Together with three top musicians, they will perform a set featuring material from all of Urban Dance Squad’s albums. Following that, the New York trio Fun Lovin’ Criminals will play a ‘best of’ set featuring their most famous songs.

Fun Lovin’ Criminals is an American alternative rock group from New York. The band, which still consists of three members, blends rock with influences from hip-hop, rock ‘n’ roll, rap, and blues-jazz. Their debut single “Scooby Snacks” from 1996 became an instant hit, putting the band on the international map right from the start.
Rudeboy and DJ DNA
Rapper and singer Rudeboy and DJ DNA were two of the members of the Dutch band Urban Dance Squad (UDS). The 5 band members of UDS flawlessly combined rock and hip-hop with rap, reggae, and electronic elements. The band disbanded in the year 2000, but since 2022, rapper and frontman Rudeboy, accompanied by DJ DNA, has been bringing the collection of UDS songs back to the stage!
