With almost 700.000 movie attendees, ‘De Nieuwe Wildernis’ is the most successful Dutch nature film ever. For two years several film teams tracked the foxes, geese, kingfishers, deer and the largest herd of wild horses in Europe of the natural park Oostvaardersplassen. During this concert the Metropole Orchestra performs the soundtrack composed by Bob Zimmerman, while the film is displayed behind the orchestra. The images strengthen the musical spectacle, and in turn the music does the same for the visual power of the impressive images of nature.
Let op: uitsluitend vrije zitplaatsen. De bar is tijdens het concert gesloten.
Met bijna 700.000 bioscoopbezoekers is ‘De Nieuwe Wildernis’ de succesvolste Nederlandse natuurfilm ooit. Twee jaar lang volgde een aantal filmteams in natuurgebied Oostvaardersplassen de vossen, ganzen, ijsvogels, herten en de grootste kudde wilde paarden van Europa. Tijdens dit concert speelt het Metropole Orkest de door Bob Zimmerman gecomponeerde soundtrack, terwijl achter het orkest de film getoond wordt. Het beeld versterkt het muzikale spektakel, de muziek op zijn beurt de visuele kracht van de indrukwekkende natuurbeelden.
