Great Catch
De Circuscoalitie selecteert voor de tweede editie van Great Catch drie korte stukken van een nieuwe generatie circusartiesten. Zij tonen hun bijzondere talent in grappige en ontroerende voorstellingen.
Luuk Brantjes is gespecialiseerd in het teeterboard (wipplank). Zijn stuk LONE is een ode aan het alleen-zijn en een pleidooi voor de rust en schoonheid daarvan. Het trio Tête-bêche combineert in 3+1 spectaculaire acrobatiek, met een diabolo als vierde speler. Harvey Cobb won in 2022 de BNG Bank Circusprijs met zijn eigenzinnige mix van comedy, improvisatie en jongleren. Hij speelt een deel uit zijn eerste solo Pink Boots and An Alcoholic Sock Puppet.

The Circus Coalition selected three short plays by a new generation of circus artists for the second edition of Great Catch – a fresh taste of circus. They show their special talent in funny, moving and personal theatre performances.
Luuk Brantjes has specialised in the possibilities of the teeterboard (seesaw-board). His play LONE is an ode to being alone, a plea for its peace and beauty. In 3+1, Tête-bêche (Marieke Thijssen, David Mupanda and Wilko Schütz) combine spectacular acrobatics with a diabolo as the fourth player. Harvey Cobb won the BNG Bank Circus Prize in 2022 with his quirky mix of comedy, improvisation and juggling. Harvey performs a part from his first solo Pink Boots and An Alcoholic Sock Puppet.
