Celebrating 20 Years of Everything All the Time
Maar weinig albums waren zo bepalend voor de sound van de 00’s als Everything All The Time, met daarop het anthem The Funeral. Het was nota bene de debuutplaat voor het inmiddels toonaangevende Band of Horses.
Met groots opgezette emotioneel beladen songs, gedragen door de hoge, zwevende zang van frontman Ben Bridwell schudden ze de hele indierock scene op. Dit jaar bestaat de plaat alweer 20 jaar en daar staan we 17 oktober in De Oosterpoort maar al te graag bij stil!
Few albums were as defining for the sound of the 2000s as Everything All The Time, featuring the iconic anthem “The Funeral.” Remarkably, it was the debut album of what would become the hugely influential Band of Horses.
With grand, emotionally charged songs carried by the high, soaring vocals of frontman Ben Bridwell, the band shook up the entire indie rock scene. This year marks the album’s 20th anniversary, and on October 17 at De Oosterpoort we are more than happy to celebrate it!
