Eigenlijk behoeft het festival van Gronings trots The Vices geen introductie. Ook deze editie duik je in de wondere, chaotische wereld van The Vices waar je de hele dag op het verkeerde been wordt gezet. Na vier succesvolle edities in De Oosterpoort en edities door heel Europa verhuist het festival naar de Grote Zaal! Nog steeds drie zalen, skateramps, vinyl en ander randprogramma, maar dan grootser dan ooit!

VICEFEST
Duik een avond in de wondere wereld van ViceFest. Verschillende droomwerelden komen samen en clashen met elkaar. Een surreële en chaotische ervaring! Het ene moment sta je te moshen bij een punkrockband, het volgende moment word je meegevoerd door een stel acrobaten, even later kan je niet stoppen met dansen op de psychedelische muziek die je in een verborgen bar hebt gevonden om vervolgens op een skateboard te stappen. ViceFest is een atypische avond uit waarop je geconfronteerd wordt met kanten van jezelf waarvan je niet verwacht had dat je ze leuk zou vinden, maar uiteindelijk doe je dat dan toch!

STONE wil je graag laten weten dat ze uit Liverpool komen. De stad van Echo & The Bunnymen, OMD, The La’s, Frankie Goes To Hollywood en natuurlijk The Beatles. De band produceert een indrukwekkend geluid waarin de invloeden van alle voorgangers in terug komen. Rock, punk, techno, Britpop, de sound van STONE bevat het allemaal. The Kooks en YUNGBLUD vroegen STONE al mee op tour door Europa, ze speelden Paradiso Noord plat en nu is het tijd dat Groningen kennis maakt met deze belofte die zichzelf enorm aan het waarmaken is.
Pip Blom
De indie rockmuziek van het Amsterdamse trio Pip Blom (die gewoon al op Glastonbury stonden) kenmerkt zich door hun levendige energie en aanstekelijke teksten onder begeleiding van catchy melodien die wat weg hebben van grunge, Britpop en rock uit de jaren ’60 en ’70. Al sinds de oprichting in 2016 wordt de band door zowel het publiek als de media en radio enthousiast onthaald. Inmiddels is het derde album Bobbie uit waarop Pip onder andere een nummer zingt met Franz Ferdinand zanger Alex Kapranos! Pip Blom is een Nederlandse heldin die je niet wil missen.The Northern Boys
The Northern Boys zijn een Britse Boomer Rap groep die bestaat uit 3 gepensioneerde mannen. De “Party Time” rappers gaan viral sinds hun oprichting in 2022. En dat is niet gek. Het zijn losgeslagen, shirtlose, zweterige, spittende opa’s. Wie wil dat nou niet zien? Norman Pain and Patrick Karneigh zijn de songwriters en performers. Toch staan The Northern Boys bekend als trio. Live worden ze namelijk altijd vergezeld door een danser genaamd Kevin. Dit. Moet. Je. Ervaren.

Dive into the wonderful world of ViceFest for an evening. Different dream worlds converge and clash with each other. A surreal and chaotic experience! One moment you’re moshin’ to a punk rock band, the next moment you’re carried away by a bunch of acrobats, a little later you can’t stop dancing to the psychedelic music you’ve found in a hidden bar, only to get on a skateboard. ViceFest is an atypical night out where you are confronted with sides of yourself you didn’t expect to like, but in the end you do!

STONE would like you to know that they are from Liverpool. The city of Echo & The Bunnymen, OMD, The La’s, Frankie Goes To Hollywood and, of course, The Beatles. The band produces an impressive sound that reflects the influences of all its predecessors. Rock, punk, techno, Britpop, STONE’s sound contains it all. The Kooks and YUNGBLUD already asked STONE to tour Europe, they played Paradiso Noord flat and now it is time for Groningen to get to know this promise that is living up to itself.
