Na tien jaar stilte is The Scene terug. De legendarische band achter Nederlandstalige rockklassiekers als Blauw, Iedereen is van de wereld en Open staat in 2026 weer op het podium, met de originele bandleden en een nieuwe, krachtige stem in de frontlinie: Syb van der Ploeg, ook wel bekend van De Kast.
Sinds het afscheid van frontman Thé Lau in 2014 en zijn overlijden in 2015 leek het boek gesloten. Maar de muzikale chemie tussen de bandleden bleef intact. De vonk is terug, en de urgentie voelbaar. Deze reünie is geen stil eerbetoon, maar een heropleving vol vuur en respect. Met een zanger die het erfgoed van Lau eert én nieuw leven inblaast, is The Scene klaar om opnieuw te overtuigen. Niet als kopie van het verleden, maar als een band die haar klassiekers met dezelfde intensiteit brengt als tijdens hun hoogtijdagen. Rauw, eerlijk en vol overgave!
