Subterranean Street Society
De Deens-Nederlandse alternatieve rockband Subterranean Street Society brengt rauwe folk-grunge met een poëtisch randje en heeft met hun muziek de halve wereld al gezien. Het trio verwerkt verschillende muziekstijlen in hun nummers, met duidelijke invloeden van indie, folk, grunge en rock. In 2023 laten ze het tragische achter zich en stormt de band verder met sterke protestsongs waar je simpelweg niet omheen kunt. De muziek van het trio doet denken aan The Black Keys, The Dandy Warhols, Nirvana en een vleugje Big Thief. Reken op vuige riffs, sleazy swamp en uptempo vocal-rants. Studioalbum ‘BLEEP’ is een nieuw spannend hoofdstuk voor dit veelzijdige trio en zal op 8 maart 2024 het levenslicht zien.
