According to themselves, this glammetalband from Los Angeles is “the hottest band out of Hollywood since Motley Crue, Guns N’ Roses and Poison ruled the Sunset Strip.” Now that is what you call a statement. Over-the-top metal with a great sense of humor, it really is a greatly performed parody of the metal life style of the eighties. The band made their debut in 2003 under the name Metal Skool, but they quickly after changed this to Steel Panther. The most recent, second album ‘Balls Out’ was released in 2011. In February the glamrockers will be performing in Groningen. Get your hairdryer ready, throw your pinky and index finger in the air and rock on!

Deze glammetalband uit Los Angeles is volgens eigen zeggen ‘’the hottest band out of Hollywood since Motley Crue, Guns N’ Roses and Poison ruled the Sunset Strip.’’ Dat is nog eens een statement. Over-the-top metal met veel humor; het is eigenlijk een parodie op de metal lifestyle van de jaren 80 van de vorige eeuw. Maar dan wel heel goed uitgevoerd.
De band debuteerde in 2003 onder de naam Metal Skool maar al snel werd dit omgedoopt tot Steel Panther. Het meest recente, tweede album ‘Balls Out’ verscheen in 2011. En in februari komen de glamrockers dus naar Groningen. Haal uw föhn alvast uit de kast, steek de pink en wijsvinger de lucht in en rock on!

Deze band uit Eindhoven maakt happy hardrock, geïnspireerd door bands als AC/DC en The Ramones. Catchy, dirty en met een hoog meeschreeuw gehalte. Ze hebben al menig podium onveilig gemaakt, bv. tijdens festivals als Zwarte Cross en Lowlands. Ook waren ze al 3FM Serious Talent en traden ze op bij De Wereld Draait Door. Een topact in opmars dus.
