Royel Otis is het Australische indie-duo van Royel Maddell en Otis Pavlovic uit Sydney. Met hun dromerige indiepop, zonnige gitaren en nonchalante zang groeiden ze razendsnel uit tot één van de opvallendste nieuwe namen binnen de internationale indie-scene. Singles als Oysters in My Pocket en Sofa King brachten hen wereldwijd onder de aandacht. Hun debuutalbum Pratts & Pain zette de band definitief op de kaart, waarna ze hun succes verder uitbouwden met het vervolg Hickey. Met sterke live-shows en een steeds groter publiek verovert het duo inmiddels podia over de hele wereld.
Na hun optreden op de aankomende editie van Pinkpop reizen ze door naar Groningen voor een show in De Oosterpoort 30 juni!
