In This Moment regrettably must cancel their upcoming European tour as a result of a neck injury suffered by lead guitarist Chris Howorth. He is currently being treated and unable to perform for the foreseeable future.
The people closest to me already know, but sadly, now it’s time for the world to know. I have injured my neck and am unable to move my head more than an inch or two in any direction & I now have the burden of making some pretty weighty decisions for myself. In order to continue performing live, I am aggressively seeking treatment & must remain at home in Los Angeles. I am devastated that our European shows are affected by this but in order to keep moving forward with the band, it’s imperative to work on getting better. I cannot express how appreciative I am that we have such amazing fans & loving support from all over the world. I feel as if I’m letting you down & it breaks my heart. I truly hope to see you all again in the near future.” – Chris Howorth

It’s a raw, rare energy that left a serious impact on us. It’s probably easy for everyone to think “why don’t you just go without Chris,” but the truth is, he is my partner, brother & one of my closest friends. Throughout the years, Chris has stood strong by my side through everything- he’s never left me behind. I can’t bring myself to do this tour without him, it simply would not be In This Moment. Our fans would not be getting a true ITM show without him. We take this very seriously & are so deeply sorry to have to do this. We have unconditional LOVE our Europe fans. De Amerikaanse metalband In This Moment staat garant voor een overweldigende show met knallende songs! De band staat onder leiding van de charismatische frontvrouw Maria Brink, bekend om haar theatrale verschijning op het podium en een ongeëvenaard stembereik
Sinds 2005 timmert de band al aan de weg vanuit hun thuishaven Los Angeles. Aanstekelijke zanglijnen worden vakkundig afgewisseld met zware riffs, gestut door de overige bandleden. Op het vijfde studioalbum ‘Black Widow’ weet de band de nummers op sublieme wijze in elkaar te laten vloeien door gebruik van electronica en industriële elementen. Het vijfde album is een plaat vol met pompende metal, zoals de singles ‘Sex Metal Barbie’, ‘Big Bad Wolf’ en ‘Sick Like Me’.

The Defiled uit Engeland maakt scherpe melodische metalcore, waarin ook uitstapjes naar thrash, industrial en zelfs doom gemaakt worden. De aanstekelijke nummers blijven na één luisterbeurt al in je hoofd hangen. Zelf omschrijft de band zich als “Middle Finger Metal from London”. Need we say more?

The American metal band In This Moment ensures an overwhelming show with cracking songs! The band is led by the charismatic frontwoman Maria Brink, known for her theatrical appearance on stage and her unequalled vocal range.
From 2005 onwards the band has been pursuing its career from its home base Los Angeles. Catchy vocals are competently alternated with heavy riffs, supported by the other band members. On their fifth studio album ‘Black Widow’, the band sublimely blended one song after the other by using electronics and industrial elements. The fifth album contains pumping metal, like the singles ‘Sex Metal Barbie’, ‘Big Bad Wolf’ and ‘Sick Like Me’.
