Ooit op weg om filosoof te worden, maar verleid door een platencontract en het podium, groeide Henry Wagons uit tot een vaste waarde binnen de Australische americana. Als frontman van de band Wagons, met drie soloalbums op zijn naam, verkent hij de donkere, theatrale kant van het genre. Zijn optredens balanceren tussen concert, cabaret en biecht, met ruimte voor rauwe emotie, zwarte humor en scherpe observaties. Ook naast het podium is hij actief als presentator van het nationale, americana radioprogramma Tower of Song, en als bekend gezicht op tv en verschillende digitale media.

Once on his way to becoming a philosopher, but seduced by a record deal and the stage, Henry Wagons grew to become a fixture in Australian Americana. As frontman of the band Wagons, with three solo albums to his name, he explores the dark, theatrical side of the genre. His performances balance between concert, cabaret, and confession, with room for raw emotion, dark humor, and sharp observations. Offstage, he is also active as the host of the national Americana radio program Tower of Song, and as a familiar face on TV and various digital media.
