Greyhounds is een band die blues, soul, R&B, jazz, rock-’n-roll en country samenbrengt in een rauw, groove-gedreven geluid. Eind 2025 bracht de band twee nieuwe singles uit en later dit jaar kunnen we een nieuw live-album verwachten. Woensdag 2 september staat de band in het sfeervolle A-Theater.
De band, bestaande uit Andrew Trube en Anthony Farrell, laat zich inspireren door klassieke R&B, Southern soul en rootsrock, terwijl hun muziek stevig verankerd blijft in moderne songwriting. Het duo weet soulvolle arrangementen en indrukwekkend samenspel moeiteloos te verbinden met de tradities van de Amerikaanse rhythm-and-blues. In de decennia dat ze samenwerken hebben ze een indrukwekkende catalogus van albums, EP’s en singles opgebouwd. Als doorgewinterde liveband deelden ze het podium met tal van gerespecteerde acts en werkten ze samen met artiesten als Charley Crockett en Gary Clark Jr.
Greyhounds is a band that brings together blues, soul, R&B, jazz, rock ’n’ roll, and country into a raw, powerful, groove-driven sound. At the end of 2025, the band released two new singles, and later this year we can expect a vinyl release of their new live album. On Wednesday, September 2, the band will perform at our A-Theater.
