Na een indrukwekkend debuut met het album The Legend Of The Goldkimono in 2022 en het tweede album Something Out Of Nothing (2023), brengt Goldkimono, op 13 juni zijn nieuwe album ‘This One’s On The House’ uit. Hij produceerde deze record samen met de Engelse producer Tim Bran (die samenwerkte met London Grammar) en is geïnspireerd door o.a Talking Heads, Paul Simon en Peter Gabriel. Eerder werd ook al aangekondigd dat de festivalliefhebber Goldkimono ook al kan gaan zien op Lowlands dit jaar.
Martijn ‘Tienus’ Konijnenburg, beter bekend als Goldkimono is een Nederlandse artiest wiens muziek culturele grenzen overstijgt. Zijn project Goldkimono werd in 2020 gelanceerd via zijn eigen label Camp Kimono Records. Met zijn debuutalbum behaalde hij bijna 40 miljoen streams op Spotify en behaalde zijn debuut single ‘To Tomorrow’ de Gouden status in Nederland. De track Electric Swing kreeg internationale aandacht dankzij een prominente plek in de Netflix-film Army Of Thieves. Zijn tweede album bevatte de veelgeprezen single Lost Inside My Head, die werd uitgeroepen tot TopSong op Radio 2 en een 3FM Megahit. Goldkimono heeft eerder op Nederlandse podia en festivals gespeeld, zoals Lowlands, Down The Rabbit Hole, Into The Woods, TivoliVredenburg en Paradiso.

He produced this record together with English producer Tim Bran (known for working with London Grammar) and draws inspiration from artists like Talking Heads, Paul Simon, and Peter Gabriel. It was also announced earlier that festival lovers can catch Goldkimono live at Lowlands this year.
