Brit Floyd, de legendarische Pink Floyd tribute band komt naar De Oosterpoort voor een spetterende show. Gewapend met meer dan een miljoen dollar aan beeld- en geluidsmateriaal gaat het dak er gegarandeerd af! Brit Floyd bestaat uit de beste Pink Floyd tribute-muzikanten ter wereld en brengt een spectaculair eerbetoon aan de legendarische band die in de jaren ’70 en ’80 de muziekwereld op z’n kop zette.
Na hun succesvolle tour in 2016 komt The World’s Greatest Pink Floyd Show terug met een compleet nieuwe show genaamd Immersion. In deze show staat het Pink Floyd album Animals centraal dat dit jaar 40 jaar bestaat. Natuurlijk komen ook de vele klassiekers van de albums The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, The Wall en The Division Bell voorbij.

“Het niveau van Brit Floyd is zo hoog dat zelfs voormalige bandleden van Pink Floyd zoals Guy Pratt en Scot Page al met de band hebben mee gespeeld. Ook is er het onbevestigde verhaal dat Pink Floyd officieel toestemming aan de band heeft gegeven om hun animaties tijdens en buiten de show te mogen gebruiken. Het is dan ook bijna 3 uur lang genieten van muzikale hoogstandjes waarbij het originele nummer op meesterlijke wijze ten uitvoer wordt gebracht, met hier en daar toch een eigen sausje er over heen.”
