Rockit is an adventurous festival brimming with blends of genres and styles, from jazz to alternative rock. On 9 November 2019 the third edition of the festival takes place in De Oosterpoort in Groningen.
Adventurous, innovative, progressive; these are the words that describe the Groningen festival Rockit best. According to the tradition of Herbie Hancock’s eponymous hit, Rockit presents a fusion of jazz and others music styles as experimental pop, alternative music, and contemporary music.
A great festival deserves some great food! Taste the Moroccan cuisine at Jalla Jalla, or have some delicious Mediterranean food by brasserie MIDI/Boccacio. Sit down and have a Rockit-themed cocktail at our Rockit Bar, or have a delicious brisket sandwich or poke bowl at our Rockit Food stand. Our street food pop-up is open as well. Enjoy some exclusive wines, champagnes and an oyster to go along with it at the winebar.
