As summer arrives, SPOT Groningen presents a series of large-scale concerts in the beautiful Stadspark under the banner of Summerstage. We are proud to announce the first act for this year Toto! Stay tuned for more announcements.
Ticket sales for the concerts during Summerstage are sold through Ticketmaster.. Make sure to purchase your tickets only through our website or the Ticketmaster website to ensure your tickets are genuine and to avoid overpaying!

The Summerstage concerts take place on the former trotting track in Groningen’s Stadspark.
ON FOOT OR BY BIKE
Do you live in or near the city of Groningen? The quickest way to get to and from the concert venue is on foot or by bike. The bicycle parking facilities at the park are free of charge. Navigate to Concourslaan 10 for the entrance to the event site. Once you reach Stadspark, signs will direct you to the entrance and bicycle parking area.
BY TRAIN
For travel advice, visit www.ns.nl or 9292.nl and select Groningen as your destination. From Groningen Central Station, it is approximately a 15-minute walk to the venue. Please note: follow the signs at the station and leave the station via the rear exit.
BY BUS
Plan your journey in advance using, for example, 9292.nl. The most convenient stop to use as your destination is Verzetstrijderslaan.
PARKING

ADDITIONAL ACCESSIBLE (EXTO) PARKING FACILITIES
We are committed to creating a positive and inclusive experience for everyone. Additional accessible facilities are available on site. If you have a wheelchair user/companion ticket, you can park nearby. Navigate to Concourslaan 17 and follow the signs. Access is only permitted upon presentation of a valid wheelchair user/companion ticket and/or a valid European Disabled Parking Card (GPK).
KISS & RIDE
Being dropped off or picked up? Have your driver navigate to Laan Corpus den Hoorn and follow the signs for Kiss & Ride. Parking is not permitted here. From the drop-off point, it is approximately a 10-minute walk to the venue.
There are several bars and food stands on the festival site offering a wide range of food and drinks. We make sure there is plenty of choice for everyone. Bringing your own food and drinks onto the festival site is not permitted.
CASHLESS PAYMENTS
At Summerstage, paying is quick and easy — no cash required. The festival is fully cashless. You can pay by debit card, credit card or wearable at all bars and food stands. Accepted payment methods are Mastercard, Maestro, Visa, V Pay and American Express. Cash payments are not possible on the festival site. If a payment has not been processed correctly, you can report this by filling in this form.
CUP RETURN SYSTEM
Summerstage uses a cup return system. Upon entry, you will receive a return token, which you can exchange at the bar for a cup or bottle. When ordering your next drink, simply return your empty cup in exchange for a new one and pay only for your drink. Not having another drink? Return your cup in exchange for a return token. Lost your cup? You can purchase a new one for €1.
Please note: DO NOT throw your cup or bottle on the ground or in a waste bin!
There are many nice hotels in Groningen! Below we give you some tips, but book in time as it can be busy!
There is a raised platform specifically for visitors who use a wheelchair. This platform provides an improved view of the stage. To use the platform, you need to purchase a special wheelchair ticket. One companion is allowed on the platform. The companion must also have a wheelchair ticket. By limiting the number of companions to a maximum of one, we give as many wheelchair users as possible the opportunity to enjoy the performance to the fullest.

Press accreditation is intended for professional journalists and photographers who are dedicating a publication to Summerstage. For more information about press accreditation, interviews, or media materials, please contact us at marketing@spotgroningen.nl.
In the case of a high number of press applications, we are obliged to make a strict selection and may not be able to accommodate every request. Submitting an application does not automatically guarantee approval. Accreditation will not be granted if photography is solely intended for a personal portfolio (including personal websites and/or social media channels).
Professional photo and film cameras are only permitted at Summerstage with prior written permission and an official accreditation. This includes all video cameras, DSLR cameras, and other cameras with interchangeable lenses.
At SPOT Groningen, you can request press photos that are free for use.
