Beyond the Venue
Engage with an AI composer from the past, feel the kiss of a digital choir, discover a fully digital K-pop band, and lose yourself in an online ghost experience. Four creators, one virtual stage: the metaverse.
Beyond the Venue was an experimental online showcase featuring concerts, performances, and digital art. Everything took place from the comfort of a laptop—no VR headset required. Whether visitors came to watch, test, or immerse themselves, this was their chance to explore the future of culture. For audiences, creators, and pioneers alike.
What could participants expect?
Beyond the Venue was not a livestream, nor an online theatre. Instead, from July 1 to July 3 audiences stepped into a virtual space where performances, installations, and encounters seamlessly intertwined. They logged in via their browser, created their own avatars, and chose where to go, how long to stay, and what to experience—or not.
Sometimes they were observers, sometimes participants. Not everything was polished or perfect, and that was part of the adventure. This was a place to test, to play, and to experiment with new cultural forms. The unexpected awaited them, but above all, it called for curiosity.
